Thank you for your interest in joining our Overnight Camp Team. This application is for candidates who are available from May 2 -August 29 2024 (18 weeks). Please note, for these positions, team members live and work at our Overnight Camp location. New to Forest Cliff?
We are hiring for a number of exciting positions on our team! Some of the positions still available are:
Group Leaders: The heart of camp! Group Leaders spend the week building relationships with their campers, participating in the fun and are essential to the life-changing experience of camp!
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age during the 2024 calendar year.
Section Leaders: Lead the leaders! Section Leaders support campers and group leaders. They come up with creative solutions to make amazing weeks for campers and mentor young leaders as they care for kids!
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age during the 2024 calendar year.
Waterfront Leader: Lead a team of lifeguards! Our Waterfront Leader is responsible for creating a fun and safe waterfront for all of camp. It's an opportunity to grow in leadership skills and develop amazing water programs at camp this summer!
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age & experienced in lifeguarding
- Must have an NL certificate or other recognized qualifications
Lifeguards: Spend a summer on Lake Huron! Our lifeguarding team is responsible for the fun and safety of one of the biggest areas of camp.
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must have an NL certificate or other recognized qualifications.
Area Leaders: Create new adventures every day! Our Area Leaders are responsible for creating the best activity experiences for kids! From High Ropes to Archery, they bring specialized skills to make each day at camp special.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age during the 2024 calendar year.
Administrative Team: Keeping camp organized! Our administrative team loves structure and connecting with guests. They are the first touch point of a Forest Cliff experience.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age during the 2024 calendar year.
Health Care Aide: You have the heart to care for kids! Our Health Care Aide works alongside a volunteer registered Nurse each week of the summer and is responsible for managing our Health Care Centre. This is a great experience for Nursing students to gain practical skills and learn from our amazing volunteer Nurses!
- Must have completed two years of a Nursing program.
Program Coordinators: Run the fun of Overnight Camp! Known to campers as Fun Masters, the program coordinators are responsible for various large group programming and taking camp to the next level.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years of age during the 2024 calendar year.

Compensation
